question about 3 gun divisions

So, from what I understand, Rifle and Shotgun is either Open or Standard.......standard has no optical sights (batteried powered or magnified).

does Canada recognize Tactical? Just saw it in the USPSA booklet, but I think it is only USPSA that recognizes it.

Another thing, if I shoot Open for RIFLE, and shotgun (that is going to be funny ), I can still shoot handgun in Production?

You can still shoot Prod for Handgun and be scored as such for the handgun results.

However for the tornament you will be in Open Division.

AHH, so for overall results, my handgun scores will be used with my OPen rifle scores.....So would I be at an advantage shooting Open handgun...?

It actually depends on how you do in each division.

Lets say you are good at Prod and can get a 80% compared to a 70% should you shoot open

If you shoot Prod then your 80% is used to get your tourney score.
