SOME people out there have this idea that they are 'undoing bubba's work' 
by removing the paint off the bolt carriers and shining the bolt carrier up until you could use it to detect the enemy sneaking up on you from 2 miles away by looking at the reflection in the bolt carrier, or shave with it. I am content to let the black paint be on my "Bell" SKS, it does not affect how it shoots.
