Hallo,

I'm a canadian resident since Dec.2006 .

The application Form in Sector C is stating :
Letter of Good Conduct Required for New Canadian Residents and Non-Residents of Canada Only A letter of good conduct must be written in the English or French language on the police department's official letter head paper. Please attach the letter to your application form.

my Question ,is it enough to translate my Letter of Conduct from my Language in to english and attach it to the Form? My Country is only issuing the Letter of Conduct in my german Language! I'm so confused !

this is more difficult then the immigration Process!

thanks for your help

I don't know for sure.. that might work. Best to play it safe though and call the CFC. If you send it, and it's not what they wanted your application will be delayed for awhile (until you mail in a proper letter, or fax it in. Regardless a pain either way)

And welcome to Canada! Our gun laws aren't the greatest, but from what I understand they are better than Germany's! :)

Yeah best to play it safe. I screwed up my application and it added an extra two weeks to the already too long wait time. I'm pretty sure the number should be on your application somewhere.
