Hey , i have a question about revolver grips , i have a old crossman model 38T .22cal pellet gun(i know its not really a real firearm but i thought someone could help me here :p)my question is what kinda grip if any would fit it , the reason im asking is because the originals got broken , i have asked someone at crossman but they laughed an couldnt believe i aquired this model , since its from april 1975 and i believe thats also when they stopped being manufactured , to me it looks like grips from a real revolver would fit it but im not sure , i think it is modeled after either a .357 magnum or a .44 revolver its not in its original conditon though i stripped the paint off it an polished it up like chrome so its all shiny and pretty now :) , i just thought i would mention that ;) so if anyone can offer any advice id be greatfull , thanks :)

if it was modeled after a revolver I would try the smith and wesson J or K frame grips.. they may be close enough you can modify them to fit.

looks like K frame I would try first

Wouldn't hurt to try 'em, but don't buy new. They'll cost you more than the thing is worth. Try a gun show or in a gun shop for a set of used grips. Remember that the frames and most other parts are made of soft white metal so dont try too hard with a screwdriver or you'll damage it.

hm

hmm well the materials used for this gun seem allmost impossible to break and it has pretty much the same feel as a real revolver its size , quite durable , been dropped a few times which is how the grips broke, dropped it cuz a pellet deflected an hit me in the had slightly penetrated , its quite powerful for a pellet gun :p
but ya when it comes to modifying , you mean changin the grips an not the frame right? cuz the grips actually look like they would be quite easy to make , i might actually try that before making a purchase :)
