Question about heat shields

It will fit , the only issue you might have is it might slide forward , the factory heat shields have a small plastic shim at their front end that butts up against the barrel ring on the 590's and short mag 500's .

They ALWAYS slide forward on the extended versions.

You could add your own barrel / mag clamp , which might work , or not , some thing like magpuls , it would give the add benefit of bringing the forward sling point back some as well
