hey guys, i have a quick question. I recently purchased a Baretta 9 MM and there is something jammed in the barrell!!!!!!!! i think it might be a bullet or something but don't know how to get it out, i tried to push it out and everything and it's not working, what should i do to get it out?

Take the barrel out of the pistol, secure it in a bench vise with a hunk of leather in the vee block and hammer out the obstruction with a brass rod and a plastic mallet. Tighten the vise just enough to hold it there and no more. If you're at all worried about doing it yourself, take the barrel to a smithy.

Get it to a gunsmith and have it taken care of proffessionally. If you bought a pistol with a barrel blockage you are NOT QUALIFIED to try and remove the blockage yourself.

Oh!

You should have said.

In that case, you have an easy solution.

Just call 911 and tell them you have a 9mm handgun that you bought on the street.

The police will take care of every thing for you.

Why oh WHY... Does it seem that every once in awhile we get someone on here that just HAS to break the board rules and talk about something illegal!!! :?

We once had a customer come into Guncraft to buy some ammunition for a handgun. The customer-plainly, a "working girl"- had no idea of the caliber or anything. The fellow waiting on her (I think it was Tony) got her to bring in the magazine for the pistol so we could at least make a good guess as to caliber. When she did, the magazine was a poorly constructed zinc casting which, nonetheless, was reminiscent of a Browning Hi- Power mag. We had our suspicions about the pistol at this point and Tony finally convinced her to bring in the pistol in question. She went out and got the gun from her "business manager" and, sure enough, it was a replica Browning. Told it was not a real gun she got a concerned look on her face and said, "Boy, is he gonna be pissed! He just paid four hundred bucks for this thing!"
A police member told us somebody had been selling quite few of these things in Calgary at the time. He felt the dealer would be identified when he was found in an alley with on of these replicas doing duty as a suppository! Regards, Bill.
