Im planing to buy the kriss vector gen 2. Anybody know if they have fix the current know issue that are on the gun? Is it a good idea to get them in this time? Any info would be help.

When im looking around on the web checking for reviews, ppl keep mentioning about having a hard time on the charging handle and the magazine drop out when the gun is firing. Im wondering if kriss has fix any of these problem in this gen 2 version

Just took delivery of my gen2 Kriss. The charging handle was stiff out of the box but after lubing it and putting 50 rounds through it I can charge it with one finger. It's my first time with a Kriss, very different recoil feel. Neat gun tho

Trigger pull is smooth with a crisp brake as well, as accurate as advertised. Stock does not fold but can be removed easily. As superficial as it is, I just love the new barrel shroud

The charging handle on my Gen II Kriss was stiff but as Matt308 mentioned with some lubing and use, it is fine. My problem was that I kept pulling the charging handle too far because you tend to forget it's for a .45 case not a rifle cartridge. I have had the bolt fail to lock back on the last round. It happens about once every 50 rounds. This is with the mag that came with the gun and some other ones I have tried from a Glock 21 and a mag from JR carbine so it's not associated with one particular mag.
I had a couple of mags fall out during the first 200 rounds but during my last session that never happened once in 100 rounds. I am thinking different ammo made the difference here.
I did quite a bit of research on the Gen II and I think (hope) the issue of rounds going off when not in battery and the receivers cracking have been resolved. For a gun costing around $2000 there shouldn't be any major issues like that IMO. The trigger is a huge improvement over the last one. Certainly is a fun gun and accurate enough.

Let's all keep in mind that it was the magwel portion of the lower that cracked. There is no metal in that area. The whole mag falling out thing isn't good and shouldn't be ammo related.
