Leupold PRW recommends tightening
Base screws- 28 in/pds (bases to gun) lubricated
Keeper screws- 22 in/pds (rings to bases)
Ring screws- 28 in/pds (rings to scope)
Seems from everything else I've read and researched, I was under the understand, Ring screws 15-18- in/pds.
Will tightening my rings to scope at 28- in/pds kill my scope, or is this normal for PRW rings. I do not want to kill my scope tube. Also the instructions say to lubricate base screws, but no mention of any other screws. Is the reason for 28-in/pds for ring screws because they are to be put on dry (as they come in package), or am I missing something? Thank-you
