I have this 1918 BSA No1 mk3 and was wondering if someone would know the story behind the crossed out serial numbers? The bolt and bayo lug both have the M25566 serial number and is original (not crossed out like receiver). Serial is also nicely stamped in the inside channel of stock. Any ideas?
