I'm a shooter with a recently disabled left hand and I've been having trouble racking the slide of most 9mm pistols with my injury. Would it be safe to put in a lighter recoil spring in my CZ75 SP01 Shadow? I mostly shoot 147 grain 9mm for reference, thanks!

11lb recoil and 13lb main are a very commonly used combination to lighten up the slide and the tigger pull.
I wouldn't go much lower unless you also handload and can dial the power back.

I do not know about the recoil spring but another tip might help you.
One hand on the slide as per usual. The other hand holding the lower.
Rather than just pulling rearward on the slide, also push forward on the lower.
I have seen this work for people with weak hands and lets them rack the slide easier.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Tried the technique from above and it definitely helps but I think I'll still move down on the recoil spring weight

try and 11lb recoil, you can also try as light as 8lb but I'd use shockbuffs if you do that. I'd use them at 11lb actually.
