I have been recently roll sizing my brass after a few nasty jams during IPSC matches. The process is painful and I still have the odd bulged case. A friend of mine says he just adds a second sizing die to his progressive press and resizies (minus decaping pin) after the round is loaded. Can anyone comment on this, does it work, is it safe?

Get a Lee factory crimp die for whatever caliber you're shooting. It has a carbide sizer built into it and when you apply the crimp it also post sizes the brass.

Yep, those LEE pistol factory crimp dies are the cat's arse. I use them for .38/.358, .45 ACP, and .45 Colt. I haven't had a failure to chamber in 45 ACP since I started useing one.
