question about Ruger Gp100

I have recently acquired a GP100 6" stainless. The barrel shroud is short, but I have only seen the full barrel shroud on the Ruger website. Can anyone tell me when Ruger stopped making the Gp with the have length barrel shroud?

I bought a full shroud 6 incher in 1988. don't know if the half shroud one was around. it was promoted to me as being one of the first full shroud ones oin Canada at the time (FWIW, sales talk being what it is)
