Question about Schmidt Bender 5-25 PMll double turn turret

Hi folks, hoping someone with one of these scopes can help me. I’m 99% sure I have the double turn elevation turret as it has the yellow indicators that appear after the first revolution. My problem is that the turret will only go another 5-6 clicks once in the yellow. So I have 5 clicks before zero, a full spin, then just another 5 clicks before I hit the end. Does this sound like a malfunction or some setup issue? I did buy this second hand so although it looked in new condition, I don’t know what kind of abuse it may have seen. Any thoughts are welcome, thanks.

Sounds like you're probably at the top end of elevation. Are you on a 0 moa rail or something like 40 moa?
Youll probably need to work your zero stop back to mechanical zero then start fresh

It’s a 0 mil/moa rail. I just undid the set screws and was able to get 2 full rotations on the turret. As soon as I snug up the screws, I can’t get past one turn. With a 0 moa rail and scope zeroed to 100 metres, I can’t possibly be topped out on elevation, can I?
