How much oil was in there and how often did you clean it out.Its all about keeping it oil free and cleaned out.Murry himself told me about that when mine snapped. He then immediately sent me a new pin free of charge and it was like 2 years since purchase.I can somewhat confirm this. My Murray pin broke in half yesterday. I am guessing the milsurp is to blame. 700 rounds and she was done.
This is ridiculous, its the primers they use that are corrosive LOLzuiderdam-From what I'm reading, corrosive is ok as long as you rinse it. Doesnt take much longer longer to clean (rinse) but saves a lot of money by using the stuff.
When you have the bolt apart I find q-tips fit in the firing pin hole perfectly.
