I have a bcl gen 2. I’ve replaced the trigger, handguard, and stock, as well as some other minor things like the grip.
So my question is if I was to buy a stag 10 upper and lower, could I reuse the rest of the bcl parts?
Bcg, barrel etc...
Was think8ngnof selling my bcl upper and lower and swapping it with a stag 10 version.
Would it Work? And is it worth it or would I be wasting money as I’m sure I would lose some in the swap.

Yes/no.

CH, bolt should be good to go. Barrel should also be good to go, but the handguard you have will require either a) a different one, or b) a DPMS barrel nut vs the Armalite nut.

Stag 10s come with the LPK already, so you won't need anything from the BCL, except your upgraded trigger.

Grip, Buffer tube/springs should all also be good to swap.

You will lose $ no matter what. With the intro of the Stag 10, the "value" of BCLs has seemed to drop (particularly in the EE). Many are not buying BCLs because theyre priced the same, if not more, than the Stags.

Many paid a premium for the BCL because they were the only ones in the game. Now that Stag has an equivalent, that is regarded as better, many in the EE that want to sell their BCL are either a) going to have to drastically reduce their price, or b) hold on it them.

Cool thanks for the info...I’d most likely sell the handguard or just get a different barrel nut.
I was thinking if I could sell my bcl upper/lower for $550 or $600 I wouldn’t lose too much as the stag 10 is $650 plus tax I think.
Nothing wrong with my bcl though so maybe I’ll just hang onto it

been thinking about doing the same thing myself.. haven't had any real issues with my BCL but would rather have the stag set for mostly just because its anodized and im already seeing marks on my receiver and just waiting for the pins to start wearing..
It'd be nice to just swap parts onto the stag receiver then in time get the BCL anodized and cerakoted again and build it properly

my bcl has been redered useless due to the cotter pin stuck/broken and the bolt open/release broken and dragging on the bolt and engaging every round.
I gave up on it, put it in the pile of “guns that need fixing” somewhere collecting dust out of my view because it angers me. Im patiently waiting for my stag
