Hi everyone, it is great to be back in the CGN community! I just purchased a Beretta PX4 storm from another CGNer (thank you!) and I absolutely love it.
I recently learned that there are a few different variants of the same pistol, here they are. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Type F is Single action/Double action with Decocker and manual safety
Type C is Single action only with no decocker and no manual safety
Type D is Double action only with no decocker and no manual safety
Type G is Single action/Double action with Decocker and no manual safety
I have the Type F which is the only one I have ever seen, but on youtube (haha, I don't want to hear it!)
I saw a Type G which I would much prefer. Basically the difference between these two is the safety. On Type F, if the safety is on, the trigger is dead. Type G is the same as the Sig, it is just a decocker, once pressed, it resets back, and the trigger is in DA.
Anyone has any input? I cannot find many aftermarket parts that would make this possible. At least in Canada.
Cheers!
