Just a quick question. My lee load data says 50gr jacketed, would that mean the v max fall into this category, does this mean my max charge is 27.5 gr of varget?

New to reloading just figured I'd ask before I blew my gun up in my face

Caliber? I'm assuming 223. if so that does sound about right. Many 50gr call for a max of 27.5 but of course you need to start lower and work up. Hodgdens suggests starting at 26.5.

I have loads starting at 25 and ending at 27, I just didn't want to find out the hard way that the load data doesn't apply

I too am new to reloading. I use the data for 53 Sierra HP for loading my 53gr V max. I also start at the very lowest and work my way up. I'm a conservative reloader. I've gone over max on some of my loads, but very little and very slowly. I go to the range to relax not to worry about blowing my action up.
