Question About WWII Enfields Usage

I have the '37 edition of rifle and bayonet, there is no mention of the long range sights.
Basically the most obvious differences to a user were the sights and the bayonet.

I know, just wondering whether or not they had long branchs by then.

As far as I know, units were not necessarily issued guns made by their respective countries. Apparently, guns were shipped to a central depot, and then issued to units from there. Therefore, a Canadian soldier was just as likely to end up with a No.4 from Savage or BSA as from Longbranch.
