Hey folks.

I came across two milsurps today and was hoping to get a rough idea of what their value might be.

The first is a VZ 24 Mauser that's been sporterised. The rifle has had the buttplate removed and a new rubber one put on, and the front bayonet lug taken off the stock but left at full length. I do not think the front is repairable but the rubber butstock can be removed and the metal plate replaced. They did a decent enough job on the front though.

The second is a 1907 15 Berthier stamped Lt Etienne. Bit beat up but no major damage beyond 100 years of being bumped around. Missing the little racking-spike on the front otherwise all there.

I will try and post pictures, but was just hoping for a rough idea.

Thanks

For the VZ-24 200-300$? I am not really up to date on sporters but a correct one could reasonably be expected to sell in the 400-800$ range.

For the 1907/15 I would say roughly 250-500$. I paid 350$ for mine a couple years ago which is mostly matching but is all there.

I'd expect an 07/15 to be priced between $450 and $700 depending on several factors like updated features present and matching numbers (alongside the usual bore and condition).
You don't see them for sale as much as anyone would like and they tend to not sit for long if they're in good shape.
