What is it that your female things do while you're out hunting?

Do they come with you? (Do they hunt as well?)
Do they stay home? (Same ol' same ol'?)
Do they do anything special for themselves while you're away? (Spa time, girls only gatherings...etc etc)

I'd appreciate if you guys wouldn't mind taking a moment to ask your ladies...doing a wee bit of market research here.

Thank you ever so much :D :D

They steam at home just enough to blow up when we get back. :p
Edit to add: I no longer have a lady at home because of my hunting addiction.

She stays home minding the next generation. she takes her annual trip with the girls no questions asked, and I stay home and mind the next generation. This year she is going to new york to do her christmas shopping, see a show and madonna. After the incident here with that Harshberger lady i am very satisfied with this arrangement!

Tried to bring one out hunting with me since she asked if she could come. Purposly spooked off a nice 120 class blacktail that was still in velvet just as I was drawing back on the bow. Apparently it was too "cute" to shoot. Needless to say she's now an EX

my wife stays with the kids & does what she wants, when I'm "not" out hunting, shooting or work, I stay home & play video games with the kids or sit on cgn & she goes out with her friend for dinner or to the bar dancing, it's give & take.

We have been together for 22yrs now.

Second that for bachelor parties out of town and the odd bit of binge drinking followed by a 3 day hangover.... :D

My wife was brought up hunting. She understands it, she has done it (both with her dad and with myself). She has put both big game and birds in the freezer. But is has been at least 5 years since she has been pursuaded to tag along.

I have no idea what she does with herself when I'm gone. I imagine she gets up in the morning, goes to work etc.....

Usually we (my dad and her dad are my 2 main hunting partners, third hunting partner is in diapers:)) put in for draws. Moose, Elk, Mule deer & Antelope (no antelope draws in SK for the foreseeable future:() as well as the weekend excursions for Whitetails.

This usually nets one 1-2 week excursion out of town hunting. We have friends and family all over the province so we usually wind up staying with someone we know when out of town hunting. So it's not like it costs alot of extra cash. But it does impact on the available spending cash.

It (hunting costs) still detracts from other things financially, for instance we have not had a warm destination holiday in winter since 2003! That may have more to do with her occupation than anything else, but I digress.....

I am/was planning a northern Quebec caribou hunt for 2014, $3000 + airfare to montreal. That may or may not happen, but that would only be because the season was/is closed due to herd numbers being too small..... NWT or NT would be options but the hunt costs more as well as airfare is triple......

I was invited to tag along with a co-worker to South Africa this August/September. $7000 + airfare and trophy fees...... But with relocating to a new city (this spring), starting a new job (last fall) and building a new house (this summer) it's just not in the cards! :(

A hunt in Africa is definatly on my bucket list, but it isn't in the cards for a few years yet. I will likely wait untill my boy is mid teens. Perhaps he will be as excited as dad is to go????....... Gawd I hope so, my current hunting buddies ain't getting any younger!

Geez..... I just realized I wrote an essay, mental diarea! I could edit this and take out all the extra info but this was typed with one finger on an iPhone, so it stays!

cheers!

I'm just lucky. We fish and hunt big game together ( she'll gut a deer or elk but won't clean a fish for some reason) She doesn't hunt upland mostly because the 3AM get up isn't her cup of tea. She also does her own thing with her friends which is all good.

She comes out to the cottage with me when we go out there, but doesn't actually come hunting. Someone's gotta make the sandwiches right! :p

Really though, she just does her own thing, reading and relaxing, while I am out, but occasionally comes out for a trail ride on the quads.

This year I convinced her dad to get his licenses, and he and I will be out there while my fiance, and her mom stay home for some girl time.

Other then that I go geese, and duck hunting, coyote hunting, rabbit hunting, and even deer hunting locally when I can and it is just business as usual, as I'm only gone a couple hours at a time.

The missuz stays home.......... :D
She won't come out even to shoot targets.......... :D
I told her she can carry the rifle..........NO!!!..... :D
She won't even come fishing.....................:D
She has her two boy friends...........:D
Mr Visa and Mr Mastercharger.............. :(
Awhhh yes, revenge is soooo sweet.

And where the heck you bin?

Maybe on a vacation?
The Isle du Alcatraz????????????? ......... :D
