Question for any TM22 owners ????????????

Caliper shows 1.575 inch. So an inch and a half.

Mine has a barrel spacer held on by 4 screws at the front end of the handguard. Free float???

Don't see these screws on handguard on the Derya web site.
 
That's interesting , I've watched a handful of tear down video's and none of them had one. But I do see the odd pic on the internet where you can see the screws . I wonder if it has something to do with newer older models or the fact that I've seen it called a rock island arms tm22, a Canuck tm22, Derya tm22 , and a couple of others . I wonder if certain importers have there's with or without said barrel spacer.
 
Mine was purchased as a “Canuck” but has Derya on the receiver, I guess they are the same company? But yes, mine also has the 4 screws and the spaces at the front end of the hand guard. It’s the new one with the full length handguard. I was also confused on how they can consider that “free floated”. Regardless though, it shoots great!
