What does your factory test target look like? Mine is 98 mm (3.85") at 25m, 6 shot group. Is this fairly standard for CZ-75? (and yes, I do realize that factory test targets are not always indicative of the gun's true performance)

Mine is for a CZ 85 and it shows a group of about 2.5" with a single flier bringing it out to about the same as yours. Of course, the gun shoots much better than that with careful shooting off a rest - more into the 2" size. These are usually very accurate guns.

My factcory target has 5 shots just within the 4" test target circle and one shot is about 1/2" outside of the circle. It was shot in 1989. At that same distance I can put 90% of my offhand shots into a 4" circle. At 10 yds there all touching.

I've only had this pistol for about a month and have 300 rounds through it. I am really pleased with its accuracy. I guess thats propably because it fits me so well, its easy to steady on a target. My SIG P220 .45 benched at 25m gets them all within a 2" circle but offhand I can't get close to that. And thats propably fit as well.

Mine was about a 1 3/4" group if I discount one flyer which opened it up to about 2 1/2"

I have been told that this is more of a function test & also a sight alignment check, than a test of accuracy.

Both my CZ85C & the 97B shoot far better than the test targets would indicate.:)

Thanks guys. My mind is at ease now :)

P.S. I love my new SP-01. I'll post a range report once I get a chance to shoot it on the weekend.

I got an SP-01 Tactical and when looked at the factory target it sorta dissapointed me but the gun shoots better than that. Also, it's a 5 shot group with #6 being an approximation of the group.

Here's another question for those of you with the SP-01: how bright are the night sights supposed to be? They seem kinda dim to me (then again, I have no previous experience with night sights). Superluminova paint on my wris####ch’s dial is MUCH brighter when fully charged.

I dont have an sp-01, just 2 cz75b's but a friend's sp-01 night sights were pretty dim to begin with as well, so it may be the norm..

I got one of the original imports into Canada when they first came in and was very pleased - with the right ammo - benched - 1 inch 25 yds. It never shot over 2 with any good ammo. :)
