Question for hunting coyote & rabbit in AB

Just wondering if I can carry a rifle in crown land (Alberta) just for shooting coyote & rabbit? I do have PAL, hunting license and WIN card. But one of my friends who doesn't have PAL, only have hunting license and WIN card, is it legal to do so as well?

Since there is no firearms are allowed in NP, so try to do hiking/shooting together in crown land.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Feel free to carry a firearm whether you're hunting open season animals or just hiking on Crown land. Are you new to Alberta..?

If your buddy doesn't have a PAL he has to be under your direct supervision (like within arms reach).

Careful though there is an actual season on coyotes in the Green Zone of AB (Oct to Feb). Feel free to carry for rabbits though.

Plus, you have to salvage the fur from coyotes taken on public land in the green zone unless you are controling problem wildlife.
