Question for Mr.Wolverine on the SAM stainless

Mr. Wolverine..I recall a thread awhile back about changes to the sam 1911 stainless finish on newest batch you were gonna be getting in. Could you elaborate on what changes if any were done to the finish and could you post a pic to show.

At the top is the old style finish, current production at the bottom showing the polished sides to the gun. With a few models we may have both styles of finish, please aske when you order, otherwise we are using up the old style and then moving into the new.

I was just looking at these a couple of weeks ago, did the prices jump a fair bit? I don't remember any 7's as the first digit.

sweet-statutory! I like the new finish, the brushed/polished look. so, I might have to buy one in the coming months....

Yes the price on some models has increased. We deliberately held the initial price down as an introductory special but the latest shipment and increased costs has forced us to review our pricing. We still feel that they are great value for money. All models are in stock at this time. SAM have told us there will be no more stainless models in the future as they are to expensive to manufacture.
