Question for people who own the Savage 110 FCP HS Precision 338

Just wondering, is the stock hollow?
Can you remove the butt pad and is there a cavity in which you could add lead?

I plan to buy this rifle in 300 win mag when it comes out and I like heavy weight low recoil rifles so I would like to know if I will be able to add a few pounds of lead in there when I go to the range like I did with my synthetic stock.

I do own the 110FCP in 338 Lapua. I find the brake fairly effective. You wont likely need to add weight to the rifle especially in 300 Win Mag. If you want more weight the 110BA may be a better option for you.

It`s an hs precision stock and no they`re not hollow.
