Question for Questar regarding LAR-15 *Solved*

Hey, I'm new to AR's and would like to know how to remove the bufffer tube from an LAR-15 pistol.

Does it just unscrew or am I missing something? I would like to replace it with a 6 position stock.

**Solved, had to use a strap wrench. And yes it does just unscrew.**

I've never looked at a pistol. but on the normal AR's there is a pin holding it in on inside of the gun. if you take the upper off you should see it. just push down it's on a spring. (and don't loose the pin + spring as you remove the tube)

there is also a nut on the outside of the normal AR's. I'm going to assume there isn't on the pistol as you would have seen it already.

I think he wants to remove the buffer tube \ receiver extension. It should just unscrew because all lower receivers are standard.
