Question for those running Magpul CTR

I plan on purchasing one but notice that it does not come with a rear sling swivel like the OEM one has...what attachment is suggested for this buttstock so that I can use the MS3 sling (with regular clips) ? thanks
 
The MS3 is designed to clip to an attachment point on the receiver backplate to take proper advantage of the 1 to 2 point transitions, and the CTR stock has slits in it for traditional 2 point slings. They weren't really meant to be compatible as I don't think anyone thought that someone would ever want to attach them to each other.

So you might have to improvise. The CTR stock has QD points built into it, so you can plug in something like this:

Couple options.

Add an ASAP plate onto the rifle. (The best option)

Use a push button on the CTR and clip to it.

Switch to the MS3 push button sling.

awesome I think that is what I was looking for...that just clips into the small hole on the bottom of the buttstock and I will be good to go?
 
I was hoping at just running the regular MS3 (non-QD) version so that I wont have to switch up the front swivel as well.
 
If you want to use the bottom hole, a cheap way to go is buy a small oval shaped locking caribiner. Even cheaper use a key chain ring and paint it. Nobody's going to care what it looks like.
 
Go with the QD mounts then head over to One Shot and pick up the OSTS Push Button Triglide...then you'll be able to switch between one and two point.
