I thought I should ask here for this. I plan on getting a new rifle in 223, will be mostly to use at the range, 200 yards max. Would there be a real difference between a 22 and 18 inches medium barrel with 1:8" twist using factory ammo?
I used to have a nice savage lrpv in 223 few years ago, should never have trade it. Now with the house kid and car i can't afford another one, looking at the Ruger American Ranch(18 ") & Predator(22").
