Question for you SG550 owners out there.

Lots of people think that all stamped and welded pieces are the same. I can assure you that they are not. The Swiss Arms built receivers are made of some of the toughest steel I have seen. They are incredibly hard. The rails are brazed on, and spot welded. You will never see an axis pin hole get worn or deformed. You will never see a receiver rail seperate. You will never see a receiver out of spec in any respect. FWIW the SAN receivers cost much more than 2x what an AR receiver costs, but usually in life, you get what you pay for.

I am looking at getting one also, with a few more mag, but not sure which one to get, what would be the twist on the dark green?, it is 1in10 or 1in9, also do you have any in stock at the moment or when are you guy expecting some?

That supprise, I din't even know that they in 1in7twist, is that a new configuration?, how much for shipping to Edmonton?

Most guns come with a 1 in 10" twist. This is the Swiss military spec. These guns all shoot exceptionally well with Swiss GP90 ammo, SS109 ammo, and any bullet shorter.
SAN also produces 1 in 7" twist barrels for NATO countries. These barrels will handle the NATO tracer ammo as well as the very heavy 77gr+ match bullets. These barrels are special order. We still have a quantity of rifles that were made to fill a security company contract (specifying 1 in 7 barrels) but were never delivered.
