Hi guy noobie here trying to figure things out, hopefully some of you can shed some light

I got my CZ 455 and a vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50

What do you recommend to mount this Scope on the 455 ?

The main application of the rifle is for the shooting range 50,100,150,200 mts, to train and develop a technique to move toward a centerfire riflre
Thank you in advance

Since you'll be reaching out to 200, a 20 MOA rail and medium rings of your choice. I like Burris with the inserts as they prevent scope marring.

Great advice! More scopes are ruined by cheap rings and overtightening
Or worse a combo of both!!

I bought the cz rings for mine but don’t really care for the design of them
The rings have groove like features to hold your scope better but I think they will hurt the finish on the scope
Glad I put a cheap bushnell on it

I had 455's sold them , now have 457 MTR's .
The .17 HMR has a Leupold LRP 8.5-25X50 ,
the .22 has a Bushnell Forge 4.5-27x50 ,both were
mounted with original CZ one piece 30mm dovetail rings.

Set them up rite and tight they work well for
all my shooting .... skwerl

Is the 457 any better then the 455? Some good deals at Tenda on both models.

If a shorter bolt throw, upgraded bottom metal, user adjustable trigger, safety that engages the "proper" direction, and nitride finish appeal to you, then perhaps yes. In terms of accuracy and workmanship, still the same you'd expect from CZ nothing has changed there.
