Question in regards to the Tavor 21

Hi all I apologize if this has been answered before but I couldn't find an answer through searching on this forum.

Would releasing the bolt on an empty magazine damage the firearm at all? I Google searched and just came up with results for AR-15s and most claim it was fine for the ARs. I want to know if that's the case for the Tavor as well.

Bolt hold open with p-mags was a problem. Not sure which gen. and only during firing. Not empty mags. I used E-landers, lars, pcv 50s, not pmags.

But IMO I don't see any problem cycling empty firearm designed to operate reliably while firing. Would love to hear reason for these rumours.
