Question Norinco 45 ACP mags

Hard chrome versus chrome like on wheels and motor cycles is two different things and there has been great discussion on this forum about these guns and their finish. Your gun will appear to have an anodized grey finish which is actually hard chrome...if youre expecting shiny or the ability to make it shiny...you will be disappointed. If you want a reliable and economical 1911 thien you will be extremely happy :) I have several. They are great for the $$$

ah ... great to hear. I was actually starting to get worried that the finish was more like the kind of cheap hard grey paint that tends to flake off after x number of years of use. Some metal surfaces are coated with that kind of stuff. They pictures on CanAm show the chrome to be very nice as far as I can see. I can't wait to receive mine.

This will actually be my "flashy" gun. :)

I ordered the blued 1911 when they were on sale for 299 for the same reason. It will be acid bathed to strip the finish and then I'll have it plated. Figured what the hell, the price is right.

Ok it has been ordered, wish you guys had some .45 ACP I coulda added on to the order. I have had great luck with Norinco so far, NP34, and NP40 are both great shooters so far, time for a .45

:)
