Question of projectile for reloading 30-30

Hi all;

Just a noob question for reloading some range plinking 30-30 projectile choice. I found this, https://www.westernmetal.ca/shooting/308-calibre-plated-bullets-150-grain-western-munitions-bag-500 ..trying to find out if this is ok to reload some plinking round for 30-30? Any info would be much appreciated. And, Merry Christmas to everyone !

They should work just fine. Look up data for PLATED bullets or use cast lead bullet data of equal weight

I have used very similar bullets in my 30-30. I Started with 1 gr less than the Start load for a jacket bullet, and made 5 of each in 0.5 gr increments. I found that at a certain point the accuracy failed. They make excellent plinker loads and I have shot them fine back to 100 yards.

You can shoot cast for half that price.

Pick up some pistol powder and can make them even cheaper to shoot
