Question on AR15 barrel lengths in regards to any restritctions

Hello everyone!

My question is if there are any restrictions on AR15 barrel length that would make it prohibited to buy in canada. Say if i wanted to eventually buy a Colt 6920 with a 16" barrel, if you have an RPAL, are you allowed to own one of the 16" barrel variants or is the minimum length that you are allowed 18" and above?

Tried looking online but i couldn't get much clarification on this.

Since all ARs are restricted, there is no limitation on barrel length.

As mentioned, no restrictions on barrel length for ARs in Canada.
However, you need a minimum of 16" if you want to shoot in the States and no Chinese ARs!
That's one little thing the regular American doesn't have compared to Canadians. However, they don't have to register theirs and they can hunt with it!

I was thinking of either getting a 18" or a 20" eventually.
Also i don't know what the current situation is with the 50 Beowulf magazines, did lots of searching but no update info, only from last year around summer.

The 2 inch barrel in the video is probably cut down from a existing barrel in which case it will be prohibited in Canada.

Crazy. In the closeup you can actually see the bullet tip protruding from the barrel. I'm surprised that functions the gas system.

No. It would "probably" be prohibited but it would be exceptionally difficult to prove provenance on such a barrel unless the person who made it admitted to cutting down a bbl.
