Question on Bedding Savage 10

I have glass and pillar bedded several rifles in the past but I have a question for Model 10 Savage owners who have done so.

I am getting an A5 style hardwood stock and will be pillar bedding it as well as bedding the action.

The question i have relates to whether or not to bed the tang given the location of the action screws.

If there is no downside to doing so I plan on doing it anyway.

Any savage 10 owners able to chime in and provide any insight?

Some say yes, others say no.
I have done 8 or 9 Savages over the years and the best I can say is to initially bed it and if you do not like the results simply relieve the bedding under the tang .
biggest thing is to keep your screw tension consistent when you change anything .
BTW ,my three Savage TR rifles are relieved under the tang And all have had a third action screw installed .

Makes no difference IF you have properly bedded the action so the tang is level with the rest of the action.

Where there can be a problem is if the tang becomes a high point and with a mid action rear bolt, the action bends at the rear bolt.

Do the bedding properly, and it just doesn't matter.
