I've been using the Bushnell boresighter with arbors for many years with great success..... always on paper at 100 yd. for the first shot.
I see that Bushnell now markets a similar device called a magnetic boresighter with no arbors..... only a very strong magnetic strip holding the boresighter on the end of the barrel.
The cost of this device is between $30 and $40 USD as compared to the price of around $120 USD for the one with the arbors.
I'm looking for comments from shooters who have used both devices, or at least, from shooters who have used the magnetic one.
I have also read a quote from Bushnell where they mention that the boresighter is basically designed for 25 ft. - does this apply to both boresighters.
I have used mine (with arbors) to get my shots on paper at 100 yd. with no problem what so ever.
One of the features that I like on the magnetic one is that you can adjust the height of the boresighter relative to the barrel to match the height of the scope.
Thank you,
