Hello,
I recently used a scope with a Horus 59 reticle and loved it. I'm now looking to buy a loupold mark 6 3x18 with a Horus tremor 3 reticle. My question is, when at maximum magnification do I lose any of the mil hash marks at the bottom? And if so how many?
Thanks for your help.

If it is a 1st focal plane scope you will lose mils as you zoom in. The reticle represents true mils at target regardless of the distance. The amount will depend on the scope and magnification. I am not familiar with the Mark 6 but have an S&B 5-25 with the 59 and at 25, if memory serves me, I have 8 mils of elevation on the reticle. At 5, I have 24 mils. May not be exact as I have a good memory but it's a little short... I have never encountered a situation that I wanted to hold 24 mils but I guess it could happen.

Hope that helps.

The solution is to dial and hold if you find yourself out of view.
