I am a lefty looking at purchasing a rifle in 300 wsm. I was wondering about a lever action and would like some comments on which is the best lever out there in this caliber.

The Browning BLR comes in 300 WSM, the closest you could come to that with a Marlin would be the .308 Marlin Express I think.

Your choices are limited. There aren't many lever actions made anymore and most are made in pistol calibres or the large bore Marlins. The Browning BLR comes in .300WSM, but nothing else. Right hand ejection only. Not a big deal.
A lever action won't be as accurate as a bolt action. Mind you, for deer/moose/bear, that won't matter much.
Shooter's Choice, over in Waterloo, lists the BLR Lightweight at $765. Their site says they have them in stock.

Hi dweagles. You've posted your question in the Greetings and Introductions forum, and it really belongs in Hunting and Sporting Arms, or maybe General Discussion. Also, it takes some getting used to, but do learn how to use the "search" function, it can save you time and get you the info you're looking for. You can find out more info about search in the Newbie FAQ's forum.
And here is my usual plea to newbies:
please consider joining either/both the National Firearms Association, and Canadian Shooting Sports Association. Both these groups work to keep firearms in our hands, and God knows we need all the help we can get these days. You can learn more about these groups by clicking on the links you'll find in my signature line below.
And welcome aboard!
