I have just seen a .22 rifle that is a Rem nylon except it is not a semi but a lever action. I have never seen a rem nylon other than a semi. Are these relatively rare and are they worth anything ?

They made a whole series of these in the 60s, semis, bolt action with box mag, bolt action with tube mag, lever action, single shot....most were avail. in "Mohawk Brown" or "Apache Black"....As a side note, I don't think that they could get away with naming them that now......as our first nations have not finished "healing" yet.

Some of the older guys at work, (which used to be DuPont) said at one time they could buy the nylon guns right from the company in the cafeteria, when Remington and Dupont were affiliated. Now if you say "rifle" in the cafe, everyone stares.

When Remington chainsaws were still being made nylon 66's were given away with the purchase of a chainsaw for a while.

I still see Remington branded electric chainsaws being sold. No Nylon 66s with them, though.

i was meaning gas saws ;)

Well, I'd buy either, or a handsaw, for that matter, if a Nylon 66 came with it.:)

Which reminds me, if anyone ever has a semi-auto or bolt action Nylon with the detachable box mag for sale, I'm interested. Will trade a tube mag 66 in brown.
