I'm following this guide
http://www.milsurpafterhours.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=7782&start=10
and my SVT was set to 1.3 when i looked at it.
I'm wondering about placement of the gas nut.
See, when I started, the 1.3 was facing straight up at me.. the tiny hole in the top of the gas tube is blocked by metal. If you rotate it to 50% of the way forward or back to the next setting, the hole in the top lines up with a hole in the gas nut.
Now, if I'm correct (and please correct me if I'm wrong) I'm going to want to adjust it up to 1.5 leaving that hole blocked, and the gas nut with its flat labelled side facing straight up... which closes all those holes and forces the correct amount of gas into the system to push that piston correct?
If I were to adjust it improperly, the gas would vent out the top of the gas nut... causing problems.
