Question re 30-30 lever action

Hi guys

Friend wants to give me a 30-30 lever action with a 16" barrel. Overall length is 36". Is this a restricted firearm? It's marked as a trapper model winchester

Factory original barrel length, its non-restricted.

These were very popular back in the 1980s and 1990s.

Where did they all go?

Probably true.

Considering that these were just plain-Jane post-1964 Winchesters 94s, except with a shorter barrel, it's kind of amusing when you think about it.

Also, when was the last time that you saw a Winchester 94-22 for sale?

94-22 up all the time. Problem is they are all listed from 900 to 1200
