I remember seeing these JW25's for sale a few years ago for under $200 Online. I never handled one but they always interested me enough to want to buy one (but never happened).
Fast forward to today....I saw one at Tenda and after a few minutes of fondling it I liked it! However, something didn't seem right from what I remembered so I held off buying it until I got a chance to surf them.
It appears the earlier ones were shorter overall. 38.1" vs 43,5" with barrel lengths 21" vs 26".but the weights listed were almost identical at 7.4lbs,
Question: Anyone know if two models were made with the same JW15A tag?

I just curious to know before I head back to Tenda with my CC:)

We all know Norinco likes to copy established brands/models.
Wondering if the "new" JW15A is a copy of the CZ 452-2E (25" bbl) obviously with different furniture.

Great review 05RAV! Answers a lot of my questions. Unfortunately, I could not open your vid link.
I see these newer copies recently sold for around $350. Maybe Tenda will put them on sale as Christmas approaches.

Unlikely, they are about the same as ever, based on the 451. If you get a good one and you spend some time polishing and tuning, they are great rifles. I had one that was very good; then I got a 452, then 455s, a Brno 4; I sold the JW.

You're probably right that they're both same just with a longer barrel on the current offerings. I'm just trying to justify the additional $200+ not being due to inflation etc.
