Hi folks, just wondering if you mill the slide on the Glock to allow the rear sight to stay in place (aka, suppressor height sights) which would co-witness (or almost cowitness?) with a Trijicon RMR?

Basically this:

Figured I'd elaborate a bit more based on some comments in another thread.

Would be great to know if the little riser posts would be done as well as they are on the RMR mounting plates.

ive been looking at all the options for doing something like this as well. i think the burris fast fire 3 attaches to the dovetail on the rear instead of having to mill the slide. it looks like milling the slide allows for using the stock sights for backup. wish the Trijicon RMR wasnt so expensive!! I am also curious on what moa dot size it preferred!

I always prefer the smallest dot size possible for better accuracy.
And if the dot ever becomes too small in certain lighting situations ie outside than increase intensity,
Just ones opinion

There's a company called one source tactical that makes a slide for the glock that's milled out for the RMR and for other type of optics.

Yes, we can leave the rear sight in place. In a few weeks we have a shipment of Doctor reflex sights coming in. These are fantastic quality, 100% made in Germany from 100% German made parts. The dot size for pistols is usually 7 MOA. We met the folks from Doctor at Shot Show and loved the product.

There will be an introductory special if you purchase the sight and have us install it. Not exactly sure on cost but they will be very competitively priced for what you're getting.
