I have purchased several varieties to 45LC, manufactures include Winchester, horandy, sellier & bellot.
I have been hoping to keep hold of the old brass for reloading.
My observation of spent cartridges tell me that Winchester and horandy is quality case, noted sellier @bellot from box of 50, three of the cartridges split.
Considering the failure rate of the S & B cartridges would it be a good idea to recycle the spent cartridges and not reload since it could have been a bad run of cases?
Ideas?

The only problem I've had with S&B brass is tight primer pockets, other then that I like it for 9mm, 45, 357mag, etc. I have hear their rifle brass isn't as good though.

If the remaining cases are not split I would load them without hesitation, you may not get as many reloads from them though.
