Question - Tika T3 Owners

Old thread I know... but

Some Tikka T3x such as the Arctic have a 3 position safety. Really a small extra lever/button ahead of the usual 2 position safety that if you press lets you cycle the bolt while keeping the safety engaged. Kinda like it actually. Best of both worlds.

This is how the Sako A7s are. Wish the Tikka T3 was like this.

Personally I like the simple 2 position safety. Works good for me, never an issue.

I agree. I think its my favorite safety.

I love my T3s. The basic 2 postion safety is simple and reliable. But - Sako's 3 position option is the best of both worlds. keep it on safe while unloading. Totally sensible.
