Hi all,

Just got my first lever gun ever off the EE. It’s a Rossi M92 in 357.

I’ve got a question about the manual safety. At half #### the trigger is immobilized. When it’s fully cocked and the green S tab is visible, I can still activate the trigger. Is that normal?

Thx all

I just checked my Rossi 92 in 44 mag.

It is normal. If you look at the safety selector, if the red "F" is covered and green "S" is showing, that means that the firing pin is blocked. You can see the firing pin will not get pushed in if the "S" is visible.

I have a Rossi in .357. I ordered a spring kit, and handed it to Deaner to fix. He polished it up inside. Very smooth action. Love shooting that rifle.

Surprisingly, mine was very smooth from the factory. I bought a ejector spring in case it was ejecting too hard but it wasn't the case so I left it as is. Only thing I changed was the follower from plastic to SS. I also bought a spare loading gate.

Love my 92 .. not that smooth yet ..

Little more trigger time should fix that ..wierd little safety feature,, better than half .cocked...?
Better than nothing I guess.
Fun to shoot at dusk.. the cassull is a great flashlight
