Hey Everyone...

I'm new to the fourm and had a question about buying my first non restricted firearm.

I was wondering if when I go into the store and buy it if there is a wait time or anything? (I know when you buy a restricted firearm you need to get an ATT and stuff before you can bring it home.) Do I just pay for it and take it and go?

Also, If I am taking it home do i need to bring a trigger lock with me or anything Or can I just toss it in my trunk and go home?

and if I am buying ammo... Do I need to bring a locking box to transport it in or can I just throw it in my trunk too?

:shotgun: me next week!!!!

If you have your PAL with you, just follow the nice folks to the cashier, pay and leave.

Ammo stored separately and away from the firearm ie, not in the same box as the firearm UNLESS the box/case is locked.

Non-restricted must be unloaded, that is all that is required.

Gurus, correct if I'm wrong...

I believe for tan sporting the ammo it does not need to be locked. You can walk in buy gun and ammo, then lock it in your trunk, or out of sight in the vehicle, at way if you need to leave it unattended for any period of time you don't need to move it out of sight.
