Hey everyone, I have a Sig P226 9mm with an E2 grip kit, SRT kit, Trijicon night sights. would i be able to participate in Production division with this? Second question is: will a CR SPEED WSM II HOLSTER work with my Sig? just want to be 100% sure before i spend a few hundred dollars on gear. Thanks!

Open / iron sights of any kind are permitted, for the Trijicon won't help... but won't hurt.

CR SPEED WSM II HOLSTER is only good for the Sig X5, according to this:

Sorry, but you are incorrect.

There is a CR Speed WSMII version specifically made for the Sig-X5 because the Sig-X5 is a different creature.

The regular WSMII sold for 2011s, 1911s, CZs, Berettas, etc. works with the Sig 226s.

Excellent correction, thanks guys! (Freedom Ventures has forgotten more about shooting IPSC than I'll ever know :))

I was on the phone with you guys earlier today haha. thanks for the great service and looking forward to trying out that holster!

Once you get your Black Badge, and all your gear, come up to Miramichi for a couple matches this year. VERY laid back, and we have lots of fun (and only 1.5 hours away!)

Thanks for the compliment! It's not always a great idea getting product info from that product's competitor's website... ;)

I did my black badge back in 2013 just have to re register. ill definitely be up there once I'm all set up! i used to live there for a few months years ago.

Just make sure your holster is compliant with the rule regarding the distance of your firearm to your body. Some slender people have issues with some Bladetechs and others as the firearm will sit too far away from your body and may put you into open.

You don't get put into Open for that infraction. Open has the same body-equipment distance requirements as all the other divisions.
For that infraction; you're shooting for no score. Of course, if it's caught before you shoot - you can fix it with no penalty incurred.
