Hi, I will move to new place in about one week.

Questions 1,When should I update my address with CFC? Right now or when I actually living in new place? I just don't want that somebody else get the letters from CFC, RCMP, and CFO instead of myself.

Questions 2, I have two restricted firearms sold to other CGNers about one and half months ago, still pending for CFO approval. Should I apply the T ATT to bring those to my new address?

BTW, I am in Ontario.

Any insight is really welcomed. Thank you very much.

Question 2 first.

Yes, you need an TATT. Because, technically they are yours, until you get approval (ie. a TATT to get them to their new owner/post office).

Question 1.

Call now and tell them you are moving and when you are moving. You can also request your TATT at the same time.

Go to the post office and forward your mail to your new address for 6 months. I costs a little bit of money (sorry I can't remember how much), but it will catch the odd piece of mail that you forgot.

Call the CFC to change your addy and they will direct your call to the CFO for you. I waited about 10 minutes (3 years ago) to get a TATT.

Moved across the highway and needed a temp ATT :runaway::runaway: . Them's the rules (she even gave me a 10 hour window. Just in case)
