Questions about my CZ Shadow Canadian

So I finally jumped into the restricted game purchasing a used Ruger MarkIII Target from the EE here (thanks Nicolas!!!) and a CZ SP-01 Shadow Canadian new.

My questions are about the recoil and main springs supplied with the pistol. There is a lighter main and a different recoil spring (I don't have the case in front of me but I think there are two extra of each). The literature that comes with the Shadow isn't great...it says nothing about the different springs other than they are supplied.

1) What is the pressure of the stock main spring and recoil spring?

2) What is recommended spring/pressure for each if I were to try my hand at competition (possibly in the future).

3) How do I identify the different pressure springs? There are no markings...just main springs in one bag and recoil springs in another.

4) Are there any other modifications I should consider in the future?

I have 200 rounds through the CZ and it is amazing. I am a pistol newb and as is the shadow is fine but better is...well....better.

Thanks for any advice/help. Below is a pic as I hate opening these threads with nothing to look at...

I shot the shadow last weekend at the range, Out of the box it was by and far the best feeling 9mm I have ever fired. Trigger pull was fantastically smooth, hi viz front sight was phenominal... I definitly have to pick one of these up.

I have the same CZ and let me tell you, it doesn't get much better. Right out of the box it's a great shooter. However I can't offer much advice about the springs, someone will surely be able to help with you're questions.

It's my understanding that it comes with a 13# Main spring and 11# Recoil spring with two spare Main springs (13# & 16#) and two spare Recoil springs (13# & 11#).

How you identify the springs is beyond me. Compress them with your fingers and compare, I guess.

Leave it as is if you want to compete. No other modifications are required. Practice. Practice. Practice.

the longer darker spring is the lightest main spring. I run an 11lb mainspring from CZ but have yet to see them for sale here yet.
biggest improvement is flush safetie, they are about $110 I think.
